For Denton County Judge

Nick Pappas

Because Denton County deserves a County Judge that will identify and fix problems.

Who I am

I'm a retired, disabled Marine Corps veteran of multiple combat deployments. I'm a father, a community leader, and someone who has spent decades serving communities both online and in person.

I'm running for Denton County Judge because every resident deserves an equal shot at success. Not just talk about the problems, but actually tackling them.

The job

What I'll get done

Short version. The long version, with the receipts under it, is on the priorities page.

  1. 01

Three free meals a day for every kid in Denton County, using federal grant money we already paid for.

  2. 02

A public county hospital and health campus, with mental health and addiction treatment on the same ground.

  3. 03

Get Flock cameras off county property and out of the county budget.

  4. 04

No county tax breaks for data centers.

  5. 05

Defund 287(g) immigration enforcement outside the jail.

  6. 06

Turn apartment complexes into housing and support centers for foster and at risk youth.

  7. 07

A county homeless outreach program that gets people to resources and back on their feet.

  8. 08

Publish the county budget and every county contract where you can read them.

Read about how I want to lead the county and help everyone who lives here with me.
